Yesterday, March 30th 2024, the Greighlan Crossing pipe band made it’s first competitive outing of the 2024 season. The band took part in the British Columbia Pipers Association’s 92nd Annual Gathering, held at Seaquam Secondary School, in Delta BC, which as always, was a wonderful event featuring bands and soloists of all disciplines from all over the continent. GCPB Competed in the grade 3 band contest, which entailed both a March-Strathspey-Reel set, and a Medley set. The band placed 2nd in both sets, and 2nd overall, and is happy to have had a good first go at it for the 2024 season. We’re all very much looking forward to the rest of the 2024 competitions, and of course to our big trip to Scotland this summer.

Come find us at our next competition, the Victoria Highland Games, on the 18th and 19th of May 2024!
